Artist Statement

I use visual storytelling and symbolism to describe my past and confront my chaotic history. Flowers and the human form become my words as they both demonstrate an eternal cycle that forever moves us forward.

Each piece is a step towards facing emotions that I’ve kept hidden. Revealing these truths can be saddening and difficult. It takes time to recover, but opening up to rediscovering myself this way is a healing act.
